A carefully matched tutor
We consider the student’s subject, academic stage, goals and learning needs before introducing a tutor with the right experience and teaching approach.
ONLINE ONE-TO-ONE TUITION
Live, one-to-one lessons on Microsoft Teams for students from KS1 to A level. Each lesson lasts one hour or longer and is tailored to the student’s subject, current level and goals.
WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE 101 TUTORS
We consider the student’s subject, academic stage, goals and learning needs before introducing a tutor with the right experience and teaching approach.
Every lesson is planned for one student, allowing the tutor to adapt the pace, explanations and practice to the way they learn best.
Parents receive a lesson update outlining what was covered, how the student progressed and what the tutor recommends next.
HOW ONLINE TUITION WORKS
Share the subject, current stage, areas of difficulty and goals so we can understand what the student needs.
We introduce a suitable tutor and provide a clear summary of their experience before you decide whether to begin lessons.
The tutor uses explanation, questioning and guided practice to keep the student involved throughout each Microsoft Teams lesson.
Feedback after every lesson keeps families informed and helps the tutor plan the most useful next steps.
FLEXIBLE TUITION OPTIONS
Start with a single lesson or save by booking several hours in advance. Lessons can be longer than one hour or arranged more than once a week when additional support is needed.
SUPPORT THAT FITS AROUND THE STUDENT
Online tuition starts from one hour per week, with the flexibility to arrange longer lessons or multiple weekly sessions across one or more subjects. Every programme is shaped around the student’s needs, goals and timetable.
We also support home-educated learners with regular, structured tuition that can complement an existing curriculum or provide focused teaching in individual subjects.
